What is Silver Region?
We are the first multilateral fund focused on strengthening care services in Latin America and the Caribbean, improving long-term care, preventing dependency, and empowering people over 60 and their caregivers.
The program is an initiative of IDB Lab, the Arturo Sesana Foundation, CRDI, and GRADE, with support from Latimpacto, Innpactia, Agora Partnerships, and Grupo Impacta.
The call is aimed at innovative and scalable for-profit companies that generate positive social impact for older adults and their caregivers. This is the second call for proposals for the fund.

What is the objective?
The goal is to strengthen long-term care and assistance services, empowering caregivers to prevent dependency and promote social inclusion and economic recovery among vulnerable older adults in the 26 IDB borrowing member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Startups, scaleups, and social enterprises from Latin America and the Caribbean with at least one year of operation are eligible to apply. There is no minimum sales requirement.
